About us Leviathan Whispers create indoor and outdoor sound installations and performances filled with giant horns, sonic devices, digital sound processing and live sounds. We can play concert halls, create installations and site-specific pieces, concoct radio and web broadcasts and collaborate with other artists and companies. We combine the act of creating, projecting and transmitting sounds with the act of listening, receiving, eavesdropping and tuning in to the world. We are fascinated by the physicality and power of sound, and build Leviathan Horns - giant reed and brass instruments that are also huge listening devices and resonating chambers. The Leviathan Horns can sound out in streets and landscape, be installed in woods and wastelands or form the centrepiece of indoor concerts. We imagine our leviathan horns prowling streets, sounding from hilltops and swimming through ancient seas rousing giants and beasts, then sitting still and amplifying the radio of the world. Leviathan Whispers is musician Tim Hill and artist Dave Young . We also work with sound artists Jonathan Coleclough and Dan Fox,artist & pyrotechnician Martin West and a pool of associated artists, performers,musicians and makers.
